I recently started to post more articles on SEO and SEO Speakers.
The reasons are simple. One SEO Speaker is not ideal for all audiences. I teach SEO with Blogs and Social Networking. Also, I drill home the importance of lead generation and ROI for your effort.
My article: Hire the Best SEO Speaker can help people that are doing an event and want to hire an SEO speaker that is a good fit with the audience and their goals.
Take a look at those articles and think about what is best for you. SEO is a broad set of skills, not one set of established skills. Some people excel at link building while others use SEO with Blogs to get results. Just make sure you understand what your goals are and find someone that can help you get there.

An autoresponder is a system that automatically sends back and email when it receives on.
Many people think that an autoresponder is just their vacation response, but actually an autoresponder is a very powerful tool that will send out a series of emails to someone after they join a list.
You may schedule 15 autoresponder messages to go out ever 1-2 days to follow up with someone very frequently and eventually sell something.
I consider autoresponders to be one of the most critical tools for interent marketing and online lead generation.
The best autoresponder is aweber. It has been around for a long time and they do a great job of supporting their clients and providing a high quality tool.

Here at Buzzoodle, we focus mostly on how to generate leads for your business with a combination of content marketing and clear calls to action. This same technique is a great way for someone to work from home and make money blogging.
Once you get good at the keyword research and search engine optimization strategies, you can create websites that will draw in targeted leads and capture their information.
Have you ever thought about capturing leads and selling them to local businesses?
For example, would a financial planner split the commission with you for financial leads you generate that they close? I get offers like this all the time. That is why we help people build their own lead generation websites – because the value is so high and the cost is very reasonable.
You can make money with blogs just by perfecting this technique and selling leads to local businesses.

We are running one of our Buzzoodle Blogs for a restaurant and it is really getting great results.
Of course, the biggest challenge is that people in restaurants do not have time to write. However, with some pushing from us we are seeing the restaurant blog get more and more targeted hits and even better – lots of people are starting to sign up for their restaurant newsletter and restaurant coupon.
While this does not make a huge impact on the bottom line in the first month or two, the long term effect of getting new people to try the restaurant and getting them on the email list will net a nice return over the long haul.
A restaurant business blog is a great way for a restaurant to do internet marketing.

People that dive into social media in an attempt to sell often end up wasting their time.
Selling in most social media platforms is difficult and does not typically produce great results in the literal sense.
However, social media is a great platform for you to get people interested in your product, company or in you personally. That can lead to them investigating you more, signing up for something on your website and that then is a lead for you.
Social media works best as a way to be interesting and create opportunities for people to look deeper into who you are – and maybe buy your stuff.

Content Marketing is when you intentionally create content that draws people to your company.
The most obvious Content Marketing is writing articles that get ranked well in search engines and generate organic visitors to your site – where ideally you encourage them to start a relationship with you by downloading a free report, signing up for a course, registering to watch a video or any number of other options.
Content marketing is also when you produce content for other sites that encourage people to visit your site. For example, a video may be watched on one of the video hosting websites but contain the web address of your site, which would result in people visiting your main website after consuming your content on another website where they found it.
Inbound Marketing is another name for Content Marketing. I like the term Inbound Marketing because it shows what makes this form of marketing so different from others. You are helping people come to you instead of traditional, interuption marketing.

How do you write for a business blog?
Business Blog Writing is not that much different from normal blog writing.
If your business hopes to build on relationships and the personalities of the employees, then your business blog should be written with the same flavor of a more personal blog.
Probably the biggest difference about writing for a business blog is that the business blog should have goals. These business blog goals are known to the writers of the blog, but are not obvious to the casual reader.
Some of your business blog goals are:
- Lead Generation – By attracting the right kind of people from search engines, you can greatly increase your warm leads without selling in the blog article.
- Keyword Ranking – Skilled business blog writing can help you capture more top spots for high value keywords.
- List building – Not just email anymore. If you do a good job with your business blog writing, you can grow your lists on various platforms, such as twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and your email list.
- Website Visitors – Your business blog may be set up at a completely different site, which can drive visitors over to your main business website.
So while the tone and personal aspect of the business blog writing may not change, in the back of the mind of each writer should be the goals of the site and the outcome you desire, without coming across like a salesman.

Measuring your Business Blogging ROI is much like measuring the ROI on your business referral efforts.
You give out business referrals, you get business referrals back, and some of those turn into great leads.
With blogging, you link out to people and some people will link into your business blog. This then results in more traffic, more people on your email list and eventually more sales.
Much like referrals, your business blogging ROI may not be easy to measure because it could take months for that link to actually generate business for you.
What things can you meansure to know if business blogging is working for you?
- Lead Generation
- Inbound Links
- Blog Comments
- Email Subscribers
- RSS Subscribers
- Twitter Followers
Business Blogs are also excellent for SEO with Blogs. This can be measured by your SERP Ranking in Google for your blog and your organic search traffic.
Keep the metrics simple and understand which numbers actually lead to more money for your business. While measuring your business blogging ROI may not be an exact science, you can become closer than you thought.

I am working with more people in very specific niche industries lately. One example is Basement Waterproofing.
When working with specific businesses in a specific niche, it is much easier and faster to get great search engine results.
This is because it is much more obvious what people are searching on. In the case of basement waterproofing it is easy to target someone that needs your services. You need to define your target geographic region and use Inbound Marketing to position yourself so that people that need your service can find you.
In the case of Basement Waterproofing Marketing results, have been getting are great, and this is just the beginning. By making it easier for non-web focused businesses to get results, we are going to see a great deal more competition for high value keywords and the first movers in each industry and region will get better results.
This will work for industries that addresses a specific solution to a well defined problem that people are doing searches about. And these businesses are going to get great marketing results in the form of targeted traffic and lead generation.
Basement waterproofing is just one example of the kind of business that is leaving all kinds of leads untapped. Any kind of home improvement or repair company must do web marketing. Search is the new yellow pages.
